WASHINGTON, _January 26, 1866_. _To the House of Representatives_: In compliance with the resolution of the House of Representatives of the 22d instant, requesting the communication of any correspondence or other information in regard to a demonstration by the Congress of the United States of Colombia, or any other country, in honor of President Juarez, of the Republic of Mexico, I transmit herewith a report from the Acting Secretary of State, with the papers by which it was accompanied. WASHINGTON, _January 26, 1866_. _To the House of Representatives_: In answer to the resolution of the House of Representatives of the 8th instant, asking for information in regard to the reported surrender of the rebel pirate vessel called the _Shenandoah_, I transmit a report from the Acting Secretary of State, to whom the resolution was referred. |
