"He seemed in a hurry to get away," said Joshua dryly. "He's the biggest humbug out." "I thought so as soon as he began to brag so much." "I believed his yarns at first," admitted Joshua. "I thought he was rather a dangerous fellow to travel with." "He looked like a desperado, certainly," said Joe, "but appearances are deceitful. It's all swagger and no real courage."
