EXECUTIVE MANSION, _February 4, 1870_. _To the Senate of the United States:_ For the reasons stated in the accompanying communication from the Secretary of the Interior, I respectfully request to withdraw the treaties hereinafter mentioned, which are now pending before the Senate: First. Treaty concluded with the Great and Little Osages May 27, 1868. Second. Treaty concluded with the Sacs and Foxes of the Missouri and Iowa tribes of Indians February 11, 1869. Third. Treaty concluded with the Otoc and Missouria Indians February 13, 1869. Fourth. Treaty concluded with the Kansas or Kaw Indians March 13, 1869. U.S. GRANT.
