The priest goes up to the altar and says: O Lord, we beg You, by the goodness of Your saints whose relics are here, and of all Your saints, to forgive us all our sins. THE INTROIT AND KYRIE ELEISON The priest goes to the right side of the altar and reads from the book. Then going back to the middle of the altar he says the Kyrie Eleison. THE GLORIA Glory be to God on high, and on earth peace to men of good will. We praise You. We bless You. We glorify You. We give You thanks for Your great glory, O Lord God, heavenly King, God the Father almighty. O Lord God, Son of the Father, Who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. You only, O Jesus Christ, with the Holy Ghost, are most high in the Glory of God the Father. Amen. The priest turns to the people and says: The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. THE COLLECT |
