198. {goesi}, (from a supposed word {goe}): a correction of {geosi}, "by enchanters," which is retained by Stein. Some read {khoesi}, "with libations," others {boesi}, "with cries." 199. {aphesein}, whence the name {Aphetai} was supposed to be derived. 199a.
